COVID-19 : Booking Change/Refund Guideline

Parkhero is closely tracking developments surrounding the COVID-19 coronavirus to help you plan your travel. This includes detailing our booking change and refund guidelines, and explaining how our cancellation insurance enables you to protect your financial investment, should you need to change your itinerary.
At this time, our standard terms and conditions apply to all booking changes and refunds. This means that:
- Bookings made with cancellation insurance can be cancelled up to the reserved start time, in return for a full refund of the booking price. Within reason, you can modify the start and end dates and/or duration of your booking up to 48 hours before the start time, however additional fees may apply. Once the start time has elapsed, the booking can no longer be adjusted or cancelled.
- Bookings made without insurance can be amended or cancelled, provided that Parkhero is given 48 hours notice or more. A 15% handling fee applies to cancellations and you will be refunded* the remaining amount. Amendments may attract additional costs. Within reason, you can modify the start and end dates and/or duration of your booking. Once there is less than 48 hours until the start time, the booking can no longer be modified or cancelled.
Credit Vouchers
If you cancelled your booking before August 1st 2020, you will have received a credit voucher. With this voucher you can make a new reservation at a later date by emailing our customer service team (info@parkhero.co.uk) or by entering your original reservation number (Mobian ID) at the check-out. You will receive 100% of the value of your original booking amount (minus transaction and cancellation insurance costs, if applicable) as a discount on your new booking.
You can redeem your voucher for a period of 18 months after you receive it. If the voucher has not yet been redeemed by this date, we will automatically refund the outstanding amount to you. Please note that if you do not have cancellation insurance and you have not used your voucher during the 18 month period, a 15% cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund.

'L4V-' Bookings
If you have a booking number beginning 'L4V-', then a different policy applies. Provided it’s at most 48 hours before departure (unless stated otherwise in your confirmation email) and you have not chosen a Non-Flex product, you are allowed to cancel your reservation. You may be charged a cancellation fee of £9.50.

Cancellation Insurance
We recognise the potential uncertainty regarding travel plans during this time and recommend that travellers purchase cancellation insurance. This insurance protects your financial investment in a pre-booked airport parking space, should you later need to cancel your trip.
If you opt to purchase cancellation insurance, you will be able to cancel your booking up to the reserved start time, in return for a full refund of the booking price. You will only have the option to select cancellation insurance during the checkout process, for an additional fee. This is calculated at 15% of the booking price. It is not possible to purchase insurance once you have confirmed your booking.
After cancellation of your reservation, we will refund the outstanding amount to you as a voucher. Please see above for more information.
