If you are looking for Gatwick Airport parking for your next holiday, but don’t want to spend a fortune, then you are in the right place! We have brought together all the information that you need about Gatwick parking prices to help you save money on airport parking. With our advice you will easily find the best option for your trip.
First thing to note is that there are two main types of parking services at Gatwick – official and off-site. Official car parks are provided directly by the airport and are the closest options to the terminals. However, you will pay a lot for this convenience. Opting for off-site car parks instead can cost you significantly less with only a slight increase in transfer time to the terminal.
Below you will find price comparison tables for both the North and South terminals with the official and off-site parking options for each. All of our off-site parking services can be used for both terminals, but are usually closer to one terminal than the other (please note that not all of the products are available on our website). Read on for all you need to know about Gatwick Airport parking prices.

The table clearly shows that official Gatwick parking charges are in some cases more than double the off-site charges. While you do get the added security of being within the airport perimeter with official options, you do not save yourself time. The official Long Stay North car park shuttle takes up to 12 minutes to reach the terminal, while shuttles from Acorn Lodge take only 5 minutes and cost £11 less!
Just 6 minutes by shuttle from the North Terminal, Acorn Lodge is the cheapest parking service on the list at just £40 for 8 days! You also have the option at staying at the hotel, great for those driving long distances. There is excellent security with 24-hour patrols, alarm systems and security fencing. You simply park your car in the car park and check-in at the 24-hour reception. For £5 cheaper than the official Long Stay North option, you can drop your car off at Short Stay Car Park 5 and it will be parked securely for you. When you return from your holiday your car will be waiting in the same spot. It means you only have a short 4-minute walk to the terminal and don’t have to wait for a bus. On your return you will need to insert your ticket into the machine to exit.
For almost £100 extra, you can opt for the Premium version of Short Stay North. It is located in the same multi-storey, but has larger spaces and is slightly closer to the terminal. Access and exit work the same.
